Early pregnancy, incomplete shedding of the endometrium with a period, excessive overgrowth of the endometrium , and cancer can all cause "thickened" results on ultrasound. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

echogenic material with no vascular signal noted in the endometrial and what are its effects?
Phase of cycle: The thickness of the endometrium may reflect the phase of your cycle. You didn't say how thick. As for echogenic material in the lining, it is not uncommon to have a calcification in the endometrial lining. As long as these findings are related to your cycle there maybe little effect. Diagnosed with 1.9 CM thickened endometrium. I thought I started my period but Im only spotting. Will I need any kind of medical procedure to fix It?
