Reason for checking: I suppose the answer would vary depending on why it was checked. If there were certain symptoms or problems then the tests need to be analyzed in that context. Simply looking at only these numbers with no context they do not appear particularly abnormal for the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Probably fine: The hormones of pregnancy certainly increase your mucous production, which can be thick. The mucous plug is not really a true thing to watch for, but is so ingrained into our society, it is hard to get rid of. It never hurts to check with your ob, but if you aren't contracting, or having pain, it should be fine. White, grey, clear, green, and yellow are normal colors for mucous. ...Read more
