Thick White Discharge From Breast
Pain and white discharge coming from inverted nipple, only in 1 breast. Discharge has been for yrs pre children but pain over past few days. Not red?
Check it out.: You didn't mention if the nipple inversion is a new finding. White discharge from the nipple usually turns out to be non-problematic, but I am concerned because you have pain and the inverted nipple. Even though breast cancer is usually not painful, and even though you are a young woman, please get your doctor to evaluate you. Better to be on the safe side here. Lgromkomd. ...Read more

I am a male of 50years and of recent I noticed white thick discharge from my breast when pressed. What can be happening to me.
Galactorrhea or milk production, is often caused by a high prolactin level or a testosterone deficiency. The thick white tissue debris comes out first. Because there is a 1% chance of breast cancer in males, your physician may also recommend a mammogram, MRI, or U/S to rule that out. Unilateral breast discharge is more worrisome.

Virgin with thick white discharge both breasts happening for years at physical talked to doc mammogram scheduled..........Needed?

If so, I would recommend blood hormone testing (thyroid panel, kidney function, and prolactin level) and a breast ultrasound in addition to the mammogram. Also, there are many medications that can cause this, but not zyrtec (cetirizine). Are you on anything else? Or any herbal supplements? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Hi I hav white discharge from breast. Gone for test result is prolactin is little high. What should I do now is it ok dat can I plan for pregnancy?
What does it mean if I have a thick white discharge tender brests and pain in my midsection all the way around and occasionally up my spine.
Lactating breasts: Could mean either pregnancy or hormonal imbalance. I would make sure to check a pregnancy test, then if negative check it again 1 week later. You do not want to have a pregnancy and not know it. If everything is negative, then you have irregular bleeding from cycle and may need to see a GYN to regulate it again, especially after 3-4 months of similar bleeding. ...Read more
