I won't worry if the: Motion of fingers and hand are good and there's no redness, swelling or pus. Otherwise follow up with your dr. Have a tetanus shot if u haven't had one the past 5-10 years. Peroxide cleaning with neosporin application would prevent infection. Take care!See 2 more doctor answers

I am sensing a pricking pain then and there under the skin portion of the thumb after it got caught for a sec in a stand. What has to be done..
Watch and wait: Patiently. It sounds like the skin and small muscle of your thumb suffered a contusion from a pinch injury. The pricking sensation suggests some minor nerve damage that will very likely improve and go away on it's own. You may be able to sense this for several weeks. .. maybe even up to 6 months. As long as it is slowly improving I wouldn't worry. If worsening, see your doctor. Good wishes:)
I have a hard lump under my thumbs skin, which occured after being stabbed by a plant whilst fishing and skin has now closed over it. Should I worry?
Lump: You may have a foreign body which your body is reacting to. If its not red or tender wouldn't worry.
Skin lesions: Based on the information provided, it's impossible to tell what those bumps are. Either take a pic of those and send over or see a doc locally.
First web space: Web spaces (you have 4 of them) are the term used to describe the spaces between your thumb and index finger and between the fingers. The spaces contain skin and soft tissues that are critical to proper hand function.See 1 more doctor answer
Try Pretty Feet: There are agents that remove dead skin like pretty feet that work well without causing nerve injury. It usually takes several applications and just a little bit of rubbing. In between you can apply some hand lotion to keep the skin moist. If that fails see somebody.
