Thyroid function: Hypothyroid symptoms are often not-specific and can overlap with symptoms from other disorders. Tsh elevation is normally seen in patients with an underactive thyroid who have goiter. Normal TSH can be seen in patients with pituitary dysfunction leading to hypothryoidism, but goiter not part of that. Neck thickness likely due to something else if TSH is ok. They are very non-specific and can be caused by many things, not just thyroid. Remember thyroid pill is a hormone. Don't let someone tell you to "try this pill" just to see how you will feel on it.
