Yes: Art therapy is wonderful when the client is unable to voice certain issues or feelings comfortably and/or is unaware of them. Bringing in the art/writing is very therapeutic and has brought tremendous value to my work with my clients past and present. Most of them but-: Counseling and even medication are usually part of the treatment. It's more often used in children or in patients who have serious problems or trust issues and are not good at talk therapy or have so many fears that they avoid medication until they are more trusting of their therapists and therapy. Weigh your options: My little sis was born when mom was 42 so the idea of a normal outcome to pregnancy in that age group is part of my life. Your life goals are what u decide they are. If u are up for it & healthy, i see no reason to disuade u. Become educated in all your risk issues & understand the possible outcomes.
