Why do the top of my feet hurt when I walk? I can feel the pain from the top of my feet to my ankles and sometimes my lower calves.
Possibility: Do you frequently wear high heels? Does the pain occur more when you're not in heels? Long-term high heel wear can allow tendons to toes and heel bone to shrink/shorten so that walking without heels stretches those tendons and causes pain.
