Multiple things: The spleen is under the ribs on the left. If it is enlarged which can be from mononucleosis, different blood and liver problems it may feel bloated. The stomach is near there and can cause symptoms, especially if there is a hiatal hernia. The ribs can become inflamed and hurt. The large bowel can kink with gas (splenic flexure syndrome) I am concerned about the iron- why? Ask about hemochromatosis. ...Read more

Hemoptysis: Hi LucasU702, hemoptysis is never normal or okay. A bronchoscopy may well be indicated. I would be concerned about a number of things from infectious to invasive. Without your travel history or living situation, considering your age TB, paragonamyacis, fungal, and bacterial infections would be high on the list. Sounds rather benign: But if you develop any associated symptoms, like sharp pain or Shortness of breath, then You must be seen in an ER. Aches and discomfort are rather common and we all have almost daily, and keeping muscles strong and doing stretching exercises is certainly helpful in keeping these minor aches and pains away.
