Should be fine: Being left out at room temperture (68-75 deg F) should not make them ineffective. Just put them back in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes and then insert one of them vaginally as directed. ...Read more

Luteal phase defect: I use progesterone in the 1st trimester quite a bit for borderline progesterones and luteal phase defect. I don't check the levels after 12 weeks because the placenta produces a sufficient amount and losses from low progesterone occur much earlier. Not really: It's common to have some brown spotting early in pregnancy. It is not caused by the Progesterone though. An ultrasound in a week or so should be able to see if you have a viable embryo. In the meantime, you should continue the Progesterone as directed by your doctor. And call the doctor if you have any bright red bleeding! ...Read more

Usually not: Sometimes the Progesterone will dry the vaginal canal and cause alittle bit of spotting. If it's just a spot it's usually not of great concern. Please let your doctor's office know and have them evaluate you though. ...Read more

Sure: Progesterone suppositories are inserted once or twice daily inside your vagina. Most do not have any problems with it. Some women can have some discharge and some can have bloating and feel crampy. Some feel drowsy. Most feel completely normal.
