If your seratonin low cn it cause u 2 hv band headaches & all kinds of horrible symptoms 2 your body.I use to be on Prozac (fluoxetine) 25 mg & now off of it.
In roundabout way: If you were on Prozac (fluoxetine) and stopped, it's possible to have some uncomfortable discontinuation symptoms [including headaches] even though Prozac (fluoxetine) is less likely than other ssri's to cause these. Another possibility is that Prozac (fluoxetine) was helping you relax, including the muscles around your scalp & forehead, which can tighten into tension headaches. You should buy a home BP monitor and track your blood pressure to make sure it really is controlled on that medication.
