Can I take the fitness supplement L Glutamine as part of my gym diet without any contradiction to my 150mg dose of the antidepressant sertraline??
Yes: Glutamine is an amino acid, a building block of protein. Because of this, some believe it helps repair and build muscle, but there is little evidence it actually improves athletic performance. Glutamine interacts with some cancer chemotherapy and seizure medications but sertraline seems to be ok. I don't know that it would be of benefit for you to take, but I doubt it is harmful. Good wishes:) ...Read more

Which of Feluoxetine or Citalopram has positive effects on memory alongside its antidepressant effects?
Neither: Neither Fluoxetine nor Citalopram actually improves memory. But depression can impact motivation, so that your attention to detail and your will to "try" decrease. What's the dosage equivelant of 100mg Zoloft to the same amount of paxil (paroxetine). I'm aware Paxil (paroxetine) only comes in 20mg, 30mg and 40mg doses.?
No equivilency: They are both in the ssri family of anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medications but are different chemicals and are metabolized differently. Also, often highly individual responses are seen with this family of drugs. If zoloft works for you, Paxil (paroxetine) may not work well. You also may experience new, unwanted side effects. If necessary to change, start at a low dose and titrate to effective dose. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If i take "gincosan"+"zoloft 50 mg" in the same day...Can gincosan affect the activity of Zoloft (sertraline) positively ?
Gincosan ; Zoloft (sertraline): Gincosan = both gingko and panax ginseng (asian ginseng). Gingko has some research support in generalized anxiety d/o: http://tinyurl.Com/m8ntby6 preclinical studies show possible MAO activity which could lead to serotonin syndrome with ssri's like zoloft (sertraline). No human studies document this. Panax ginseng could be more stimulating ; might agitate you. I suggest work w/zoloft (sertraline) alone right now. ...Read more

Can i take 5htp and GABA with Zoloft (sertraline) and clonazepam? If so what is the safe amount of each? I am on 50mg of zoloft (sertraline).
Not recommended: Both zoloft (sertraline) and 5thp will increase serotonin levels.
