What are odds of conception if IVF tried again in 42 year old woman who had only 1 egg with prior stimulation?

Not good.: The likelihood of a take-home baby in the scenario you describe is pretty small - i would guesstimate <5%. Consider donor eggs at this age, if that is an option for you. ...Read more

I am said to have water in my fallopian tubes and an inflammation, can I have a conception without an IVF?

Hydrosalpinx: Hydrosalpinx is the collection of fluid(water) inside a closed Fallopian tube as a result of a serious Fallopian tube infection. Damage has been seriously done to the structure of the Fallopian tube especially inside where the sperm and egg must meet to conceive. If chances of conception increase in 2 embryo transfer IVF Why doc recomend single embryo?what are risks of 2 embryo apart from twins?

If chances of conception increase in 2 embryo transfer IVF Why doc recomend single embryo?what are risks of 2 embryo apart from twins?

Your info says you are 29 and in the UK? I do not know the UK standard of care but the science is the same. Best wishes! ...Read more

Hormone: The pregnancy test commonly referred to as HCG is actually a measure of the beta subunit of the HCG molecule, so you may hear it referred to as beta hcg, hcg, or beta and they are the same test.
