I am taking 7 different medicines and was wondering if I can continue to take Natures Code Vitamins for women 50 and over?
Yes, in fact...:
Many medications (including yours) increase our need for vitamins so it can be argued the more meds you're on the more vitamins you need. I have much more concern about interactions between these meds than them interacting with vits. Anyone on statins should take CoQ10. It is hazardous to take Omeprazole for long periods. Good quality vitamin: We agree. I'm not a fan of most over the counter multivits. They have just enough of many ingredients in them to make them legal. They also base their contents on the rdas of the government, which are extremely low. Ask a nutritionist or your doc to suggest a brand. If you look on the label and many of the ingredients are several hundred % above the rda you are on the right track. Peace. ...Read more
