Can I take chlorthalidone 25 mg daily and Chlonidine .1 3x a day for high bp. Hw effective are these two medications when used together?
I am on 10mg of Ramipril & 5mg of Amolodipine Besylate. I was on 25mg of Chlorthalidone, but didn't like the way it made me feel. I tend to still average around 141/84 with a pulse around 75-80. Is there a better medication?

Low K on CTD: 61 F on chlorthalidone and has K of 3.2 and had "drug" resistant HTN. You need to be tested for Conn's Syndrome as this is the most likely cause of drug resistant HTN esp with low K. Testing is straight forward and I specialize in it. Recommend u consult with me for 2nd opinion and join the Yahoo group I have 4 people with this problem.
