What are the tests that should be done after the first miscarriage?

None: Usually a miscarriage is caused by a random genetic problem in the developing baby and there is nothing that could have been done to prevent it. Most women who have had a miscarriage go on to have a successful pregnancy. Recurrent miscarriages may warrant further work up that would be outlined by the physician. Emotional support for both parents is important after the loss. ...Read more

Several miscarriages in the past with tests results concluding a fluke now i had 2 periods in one month, is this normal?

Several miscarriages in the past with tests results concluding a fluke now i had 2 periods in one month, is this normal?

Likely normal: A cycle length (from the first day of one period to the first day of the next period) of 21 to 35 days is considered normal. Since calendar months are 30-31 days, it is common to have your period on a different calendar day each month. So if you started a period on january 3rd, you could easily get a second period on january 24th, and that would be normal. Cycles less than 21 days aren't normal. ...Read more

My sister is 25 years old she miscarried twice suddenly all tests are fine but her antithrombin percent is 66% is it the cause?

My sister is 25 years old she miscarried twice suddenly all tests are fine but her antithrombin percent is 66% is it the cause?

Miscarriage: I'm assuming you are talking about an Antithrombin 3 level. It sounds like she is being evaluated for lupus or lupus like conditions, which can lead to more poor pregnancy outcomes. She probably needs to have her provider go over the entire work up with her to see if anything is concerning. ...Read more
