Glycolysis : Glycolysis is the breakdown of glucose (blood sugar). All it means is that the glucose level from the test is inaccurate because the glucose had broken down - possibly from sitting around too long, or improper storage of the blood or urine sample. Therefore, reporting the number given from the test is useless since the test is known to be inaccurate. D/w your MD: Why did you get the LP in the first place? Did you have headaches, fever, photo sensitivity, neck stiffness etc? If you did and now your LP showed a lot of lymphocytes- that would indicate-perhaps you have a viral meningitis. However, not knowing what is the clinical setting and not knowing the detail result of your csf- ( total wbc, rbc, ldh etc)- it is hard to give you a good answer.
