See below: If your cough is a post-viral cough, almost nothing helps. Nasonex can take weeks to really start working well. Astelin nasal spray works pretty well. Chlorphenirimine works as good as anything if the cough is coming from post nasal drip. Lastly, you might try to find Chestal with honey - I've found it at Whole Foods and Walgreens.
