Nothing: Nothing unless you are allergic to it. You can use artificial tears to rinse and lubricate. Most likely will cause no harm or do nothing except possibly cause blurred vision until it washes away.

Terramycin ophthalmic ointment can cure eye stye?

Terramycin ophthalmic ointment can cure eye stye?

Warm Compresses: A stye, or chalazion, is an obstructed or infected oil gland of the eyelid. Use of warm compresses (a wash rag soaked in warm water) held over the closed eye for 10 minutes a few times a day will usually help the stye to resolve. Sometimes antibiotic eye ointment and less commonly oral antibiotics can help as well. If the stye has been there chronically (months), surgical drainage may be needed.

Copious amounts of green eye boogers on eye lashes of 4 month old in the morning & during the day. Should I use terramycin?

Copious amounts of green eye boogers on eye lashes of 4 month old in the morning & during the day. Should I use terramycin?

Yes, if: If the antibiotic was prescribed for your baby and not for someone else, then yes you should use it. Your child likely has bacterial conjunctivitis, if the drainage is continuing day and night and needs treatment. But it is essential for babies they have their own medicine prescribed - don't be sharing the family tube or drops. Finally, massage tear ducts many times a day if baby has pink eye.

I have had a stye in the outer corner of my left eye for more than two weeks now. How can I treat it? Can I use terramycin?

Try heat: While many styes are infected, antibiotics generally cannot easily get to them. Heat is very effective. Try soaking a washcloth in the very warm (not hot) water tap and putting it on the stye for 4 minutes at a time about 5 times per day. The frequency is important - 2-3 times will usually not work. If persistent after a week of this see your ophthalmologist.

Lastweek saturday I was out hole day when I came home my eyes was burning, scratching and hurting I have take visine eye drop and terramycin no result?

Dry eyes vs allergy: Sounds like your outdoor event could've caused you to have allergic reactions to environmental allergens or possible dry irritated eyes related to a dusty environment. Try best not to rub. If itchy, cool compress best, along with OTC anti allergy drops like Zaditor (ketotifen). If sore, warm compress better along with frequent preservative free artificial tears. If no better see eye doc. Good luck!

Explain to me lennon sulphacetamide eye ointment hw it treat the eye?

Explain to me lennon sulphacetamide eye ointment hw it treat the eye?

As an Antibiotic: As far as I know lennon sulfacetamide is a branof of sodium sulfacetamide in south africa. This is a bacteriostatic antibiotic. We rarely used it alone. We usually use the blephamide combination which has the sulfacetamide 10% plus 0.125% prednisolone. The combination is very good in controlling meibomian gland inflammation, the sulfacetamide keeps the bacteria controlled.
