Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Irregular cycles: Birth control pills are often used to regulate cycles. If this is the case you may not regulate. More likely though, you are in the peri menopausal period and may space your periods as you get to menopause. Menopause is defined as more than a year without periods. The time leading up to this is marked by irregular cycles. Hope this helps. ...Read more

Can i test for pregnancy after 3 weeks from intercourse?

Can i test for pregnancy after 3 weeks from intercourse?

Yes: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened). If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. ...Read more

My first delivery was cesarean, can I take any medication after 16 months for avoiding pregnancy? Should it be taken within 72 hours?

Yes: Odd question coming from a male, but a female can take any medication she wants or needs to, to avoid pregnancy 16 months after a cesarean section. Yes: First, sorry for your loss. Yes,the pregnancy test may still be positive 3 weeks after a miscarriage. The HCG level has to drop off, and this can take some time. Had a medical abortion at 14 weeks. 3 weeks after , 2 hpt were negative. However, i feel "gassy" stomach. Baby kicking? Possible continued preg?

Shouldn't be: A termination that late may result in retained products (placenta) and that might cause cramping and bleeding, but its more likely the sensation you are feeling is the gas. Bowel gas can feel like butterfly flicking like early pregnancy. Try some gas X or simethicone. ...Read more

Can we take hyponidd tablets during pregnancy.. AM almost 4 months taking hyponidd and 3 weeks pregnant now?

It is certainly not a formulation that should be taken during pregnancy since it may have many unknown side effects and could represent a threat to the pregnancy. Possible reasons for hCG dropping slowly (2494) after 3 weeks of natural miscarriage (in my 6th wk preggo w/3789 hcg)? Not bleeding anymore. Waiting af

Varies: When the HCG is dropping, the production of that hormone is decreasing as the syncytiotrophoblasts (placental cells) die off, which is what needs to happen for the miscarried pregnancy to be completely gone. If the HCG stops dropping or begins to rise, those cells are persisting and have to potential to grow and spread - that is a type of cancer. That patient needs to be treated asap. ...Read more
