I literally can relax my muscles and they will tighten back within 10 mins whether standing or sitting. I cant massage my muscles everytime they tense?
Tense muscles can: Be loosened w/massage or hot shower but if they tighten up significantly and quickly you need to find the root of the muscle tension. Low magnesium is one possibility. Sorry for your dilemma. Your description fits with patients that have cervical spine disease causing an injury to the nerve root.
In cervical radiculopathy with nerve root involvement the muscle can spontaneously fire giving rise to fasciculations which is what you are appreciating with the twitching.
