Tendons Of The Hand And Wrist
Can't extend fingers: These are the tendons that you use when you uncurl your fist and straighten out your fingers. They sometimes rupture because of rheumatoid or other inflammatory arthritis, especially if there has been a lot of swelling in the wrist for a long time. This problem can be surgically repaired, but it is better to prevent the problem than repair it. See your doctor. ...Read more

Be seen again: If there is any history of trauma to the wrist and no initial xray was done that should be done now. It is possible to have a hairline fracture that does not cause any swelling or bruising at the site. Even if it would have the potential to heal on its own it is not likely that a child would be keeping it immobilized on their own. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Hand pain when squeezing/closing, tendon that runs from my middle finger down to my wrist that seems to be cramp. I've been golfing a lot so maybe grip?
Tendonitis: Your pain suggests inflammation of the tendon (tendonitis) that flexes your middle finger and that also contributes to clenching your fist and flexing the wrist.
