The chin and lip symptoms are in the distribution of the trigeminal nerve and involve brainstem, facial mechanisms, not "discs"! you might have a dental issue affecting the mental nerve branch. A normal emg and : Nerve conduction does not mean that there is no nerve irritation but that it is just not severe enough to register on that test at that time. Tendinitis is a source of discomfort but does not usually cause numbness think of other sites of compression, metabolic endocrine and circulation as well. Don't forget your neck and shoulder as well , a good exam may narrow down these sites and recheck othe. ...Read more
