Pain/numbness in hands and wrists, but emg came back normal. My doctor thinks it might be tendonitis, but cold makes it worse. What else could it be?

A normal emg and : Nerve conduction does not mean that there is no nerve irritation but that it is just not severe enough to register on that test at that time. Tendinitis is a source of discomfort but does not usually cause numbness think of other sites of compression, metabolic endocrine and circulation as well. Don't forget your neck and shoulder as well , a good exam may narrow down these sites and recheck othe. ...Read more
