Unlikely: A tendonitis of the hand would cause pain, swelling and tenderness along the flexor tendon of usually one finger. A stenosing tenosynovitis would cause a trigger finger. Isolated stiffness as a symptoms would not be a symptom. Pain in muscle of thumb, especially when gripping or if i press on it. No tingling or pain in other fingers. Is this tendonitis?
