Tendonitis In Children
I have had wrist tendonitis on and off for nearly two years and have had physio but it's not working. I work with children so can't rest it, help!
Bracing?: If you keep using an 'unhappy' tendon, it is unlikely that it will resolve. There are wrist splints that prevent flexion/extension which still allow us to function in most situations. Wrist tendonitis. I take my splint off all the time. Now if i ask for a hard cast that i can't take off for a few weeks so it can rest. Do you think its a possibility my doctor could.Work with children?

Rest, anti-inflam.: Tendonitis is an inflamed tendon. Rest is important- if it hurts don't do it! to reduce the inflammation many docs give steroid shots but this may weaken tendons; i inject homeopathic traumeel, a safe effective alternative.
