After a round of golf I have a lot of pain in my acchillys tendon and lower leg. My heart pulse rate is 40 beats a minute. Can this be the problem. ?
Anything else?: That is quite low a pulse rate but if you are very athletic, it's not rare - if it is unusual for you and you also feel chest pain, are faint or dizzy or anything else, be seen or call your Dr. It's not likely related to the leg symptoms - but mention that when you call just to be complete. Swelling entire length of Achilles tendon. MRI normal. Leaving upper leg stationary and extending lower leg straight, feel pulling behind leg. Help?

Gastroc strain?: If u have strained ( partially torn) the medial( inside) head of your gastrocnemius muscle( most common injury that your symptoms suggest)rest for 4-6 wks(or u risk re-injury),heel lift can help. I have quite severe pain in lower left leg and side of left foot. I am trying to determine whether it might be varicose vein or something else. There is selling of something just under surface but I can't tell if it is vein or tendon.?
