Sometimes they can take longer but the good news is things WILL heal given time AND no further similar insults while healing. ...Read more

If I had a brain bleed would the pain get worse and lessen? Would a spot in the back of my skull be tender to the touch? I've had no head trama.
If you have had no: Head trauma, than you fear a hemorrhagic stroke or an aneurysm? Most likely, if you had either of these, you would not feel it on the outside of your head and you would have neurologic signs ie limb weakness, problems speaking, confusion or any other neuro signs associated with damage. If you are having any other neuro signs, get checked out, but otherwise it does not sound like an active bleed. ...Read more

Most likely muscle: While this is most likely muscular pain, any change in back or neck pain when you have history of a syrinx, should be examined to look for any neurologic changes. I would recommend follow up with your neurologist just to be safe. If the pain continues to get better, its less concerning and most likely musculature. If it radiates, causes weakness, gets worse, recommend seeing neurologist sooner. ...Read more
