Diarrhea for 2 weeks, swollen and tender groin lymph nodes on both sides. This is the 5th time in a year this happens. Blood work ok. What could it be?
Not good: The blood work being OK is irrelevant. You have persistent bouts of diarrhea. You may have a parasitic infection, or a malabsorption syndrome or other nastiness. You need to see a good gastroenterologist to do a thorough eworkup on you. Several months of persistent diarrhea is not right. I hope that you have not lost much weight! ...Read more

Probably not herpes: Recrurrent genital herpes doesn't cause enlarged lymph nodes. This happens from herpes only once, during the intitial infection, and in that case there would be painful blisters or sores. And herpes doesn't cause lower back pain. You'll need to look elsewhere for the cause of these symptoms. Good luck! ...Read more
