Are low doses of Xanax (alprazolam) and clonidine safe to take during short-acting opioid withdrawal? I plan on taking 1mg of Xanax (alprazolam) and 0.2mg of clonidine daily.
My mother is taking seroquel...ambien and xanax (alprazolam). 200mg seroquel and 120 pills of 1mg xanax (alprazolam) not sure of the dosage of ambien. Is this okay?
Too many sedatives: Without knowing the exact regimen my best comment is to note that care must be taken when using multiple medications with sedative effects. I assume the Ambien is for sleep and the Xanax (alprazolam) is for anxiety. I would argue both are short-term interventions and she will be best served if alternative approaches are explored. The only thing I can say with certainty is that she should NOT drink alcohol! ...Read more
