Yes: Hopefully this resolves in 30 minutes or so. It may even slow some in 10. Some folk experience even higher heart rates during an attack, and do not incur permanent damage, so don't worry about that. Hard to tell.: A full blown panic attack is not normal even for an adolescent, but some amount of weird feelings may be normal. Teen years are enough to drive most people involved pretty crazy at times. You're so right to note that you're changing. In many ways. But panic is worth an exam and evaluation. What else: If the panic attacks really effect your performance on test,You should learn coping skills by visiting good therapist, at the same time you may consider pharmacotherapy. MaybeThisWill Help: This is what I did the few times I was freaking-out over something: I started walking outside real fast then started jogging and intermittently sprinting until I was out of breath and repeated it until i was exhausted.
