Two year olds : will have temper tantrums. That's why they call them the "terrible twos." It occurs Bcause they need to start learning to accept limits. Infants cry and get fed, held or have their diapers changed. 2 yr olds need to learn to wait, get toilet trained, etc. if you give in to tantrums they will learn to keep having tantrums. Talk to a therapist to learn what to do. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My grandpa pulled a muscle in his back & went to the va hospital yestray. Hes home now & thr medication they gave him doesn't help the pain & his sides are now hurting. What else can we do?
Call or go back VA: If the medication is not working, i'm sure the prescribing doctor wants to know. Call the doctor or go back to the va to get re-evaluated for possibly another treatment regimen. Depending on what was given, sometimes it takes more than 1 day to feel better but if you are concerned, definitely go back. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If i went to er solely for panic attack & dr saw injection marks, then asked who prescribes my pain meds, can he/she alert my pain doctor? hippa law?
I think so since: he may think you are a danger to yourself or others and is still in good faith , your pain dr. would do drug screens as routine and panic attack alone should not be a reason to discharge you , you are up front with your pain dr. anyway , nothing to hide for your health , if you have track marks because you are abusing the pain meds by injecting them then you need to stop now and get help for your ...Read more

I tossed my 2 yr old on the bed today & he flipped & his head bent far back. He cried for 1 min but was fine all day. Do we need to watch 4 any probs?
Probably fine: Kids are a lot tougher than parents seem to think these days. He was probably more startled by the experience than hurt. Watch how you toss him around, but don't feel like you are going to accidentally break him either. ...Read more

Stored online now...: The U.S. Government, over the past 10 years or more, has made plans and rules to require medical records to be on computers. Doctors who are helping care for the same patient can look at the patient's records online or on the same computer network, if they have password access. Doctors can also be emailed records, if they don't have password access. Records are private unless the system is hacked. ...Read more
My fathers doctor walked into his room , said you've had a heartattack at some point. Then mentioned anteroseptal hypokinesis with no explanation.?
Silent attack: Some people suffer silent heart attack--no pain or warning, thus not known to the affected. Diabetics and women are more likley to sufffer this type. Anteroseptal means front-middle-wall, hypokenesis =not moving well. Without more info, it is hard to tell. I would suggest asking the doctor caring for your dad who may provide the answer you seek. Baby got sick 2m ago & started cosleeping 2 better monitor & administer meds. Now at 5mo we've been unable to transition her out of the bed. Advice?
Tough Love: You will have many miles before you sleep on this subject. It is a hard thing to correct but possible. Sometimes children will be alright with sleeping in their bed if someone is in the room. You may have to take turns staying in the room with your child until they fall asleep in their own bed. Taking turns helps it not be so stressful. It will be easier to give in but be strong. ...Read more
