What is more beneficial for under eye dryness: eye cream with hyaluronic acid or eye cream with peptides?
Hyaluronic acid: If there is sufficient hyaluronic acid to cause skin hydration, that would be the preferred product. There will not be enough peptides in any formulation to be helpful and peptides will not hydrate or be absorbed in any way. They are totally a marketing ploy with no value. ...Read more
Yes: Both brands have different formulations: some are just artificial tears, and some 'get the red out'. The 'red out' ones have vasoconstrictors in them that make the eye look white for a time, but don't address the reason why the eye is red in the first place (e.g., dry eye, allergic eye), and the eye vessels often bounce back to full redness after the drop wears off, especially when used daily. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

The vision can then drop in one of the eyes and be brought up to its best 8 year old level when you are older. If the vision was poor by age eight, then you are out of luck. ...Read more
