Ochrononsis: Ochronosis is the bluish black discoloration of tissues such as ear cartilage and ocular tissue, seen with alkaptonuria, a metabolic disorder. Additionally, ochronosis can occasionally occur from exposure to substances such as phenol, trinitrophenol, resorcinol, mercury, picric acid, benzene, hydroquinone, and antimalarials. No.: I assume you meant "dovonex". Dovonex is a vitamin d-derived cream or ointment used to treat psoriasis, and tazorac (tazarotene) is a retinoid cream (similar to retin-a) used to treat acne and psoriasis. Both are available by prescription only. ...Read more

???: Not a great idea. First, sunlight inactivates retinoids so whichever one you use during the don't won't work as well. Second, you really only need to use one retinoid. You won't get any more benefit from using two, or even from using the same one twice daily. Finally, tazorac tends to be harsh and Renova (tretinoin) was made to be very gentle. Just a Smidge!: Tazorac, retin a, (tretinoin) retinoic acid… all have an fda approval for reduction of wrinkles around the eyes. Use the equivalent of one half the size of a pea mixed with your eye cream which should be enough for both sides.
