Tapeworm: I hear your concern. Unfortunately, doctors don't believe self diagnosis, because despite most fervent claims, objective data are often lacking to support them. If you are sure that you ; your family members are infested with tapeworm, then it would be so easy to prove by giving a stool sample for testing and if it is there, it will be readily revealed. Won't die: Round worms / tape worms are annoying and rarely uncomfortable but you won't die. If you have accidental exposure (such as eating with unwashed hands after cleaning up from an infected animal) have your doctor test your own poop. Simple medications are avaialbe, if needed. ...Read more
