24 y/o fm, flu +, tamiflu (oseltamivir) side effect of diarrhea, day 1 menses, 103* temp. Poss kidney pain/cramp, acid bubbles in stomach related to fever reducer?
Usual flu s/s: What you are describing are pretty typical influenza signs and symptoms. Even though you are on tamiflu, (oseltamivir) these are not going to disappear today or tomorrow. Tamiflu (oseltamivir) reduces the length of illness by a day or two, but until then, you will feel like you do and run fever as you are. If the urinary symptoms worsen, make sure you have not developed a urinary tract infection on top of things. ...Read more

I took Plan B one step about a week ago and had mild side effect. Now I started to have bad cramps like my menstrual cramps and a feeling like my flow was trying to come down. Is this normal?
Side effects vs STI:
Some women notice that their periods are off in timing +/- 2 days after taking Plan B. It is often the next month's period that is heavier or longer, not the current one.
In your case, I suspect you had unprotected sex (hence the need for Plan B) and may be experiencing pain from a pelvic infection/ STI. You need to see a physician for STI testing and treatment. ...Read more

Ovulation: It seems the pain you describe may be related to ovulation. Although you feel it only on the right, it doesn't mean you only ovulate from the right side, only that the irritation from the released egg may be from there. It may also result from a persistent cyst within the ovary. You should see your doctor to find out if there is something else going on. ...Read more
Does contraplan2 always delays the menstrual cycle? Is it weird that my appetite is more (always hungry)? Will there be any other side effects?
Emergency contract: Contraplan2 and Plan B both contain a Progesterone like hormone. This hormone can alter your current cycle and delay it. It can also increase your appetite, but for most people this is not noticeable. The increased appetite, if it occurs, should really last no more than a few days. It might alter your bowel habits - but, again, only for a few days. ...Read more

If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test.
