Is it ok for me to be taking a fish oil with D3 added along with a garlic and B12 supplement? Im 25 years old, 6'2" and 260lbs.

Is it ok for me to be taking a fish oil with D3 added along with a garlic and B12 supplement? Im 25 years old, 6'2" and 260lbs.

Yes: These are all perfectly safe and generally beneficial to take. In the fall and winter months adults need about 5000 iu of vit d a day to achieve a good level of vit d, so if your fish oil does not have 5000 iu of d3 (which is unlikely) then i would advise taking additional d3 at that time. If you spend much time in the midday sun in spring & summer that should provide adequate d during that time. ...Read more

Can I take garlic 1000mg, B12 1000 mcg, magnesium 400mg, zinc 50 mg and fish oil 500 mg daily? should I space them out during the day?

Talk to your doctor: first if you are taking zinc as there's an upper limit you can take per day, (and it has to be balanced with copper too.) Both needed in trace amounts. So this may be safer in a multivitamin formulation unless you are specifically low dietarily in these supplements. B12 is taken sublingually for maximum benefit taken separately. Garlic and fish oil can be taken together. Call your doctor first! ...Read more

Will taking too much blood thinning supplements like garlic, fish oil and flaxseed make you feel lightheaded?

Not likely: Garlic, flax and fish oil all affect blood clotting slightly, and should not make you lightheaded, unless they triggered major bleeding internally. Severe bleeding from these supplements is almost unheard of; their effects are modest and apparent only in a slight reduction in heart attack and stroke risk. ...Read more

I take fish oil and niacin to lower my triglycerides, can I also add garlic tablets?

You can: But i doubt it will work. I've not had any luck with Niacin and modest with fish oil, unless it's a prescription strength. Best way is weight loss and avoiding sweats, easily absorbable carbs, etc. If you have hereditary hypertriglyceridemia, none of the mentioned meds will work effectively. ...Read more

Can plexus slim be taken w seaweed nazacort echinachea opc grapeseed garlic Lipitor (atorvastatin) ginger omeprazole fish oil acetyllcartinine & glucosaminecondroit?

Probably: One of the problems with many supplements is that there is little research on safety and effectiveness. Plexus slim has many ingredients; I have reviewed them ; they are all safe and have no known interactions with the things you are taking. However, avoid plexus slim accelerator- it is hazardous! i believe anyone on Lipitor (atorvastatin) should take coq10. See http://bit.Ly/1jjpcpg ; http://bit.Ly/1era8lt. ...Read more
