Taking A Fat Burner On Antidepressants
Can I use fat burner pills without caffeine if im taking antidepressants amitryptilin? Im using fat burner with cambogia extract and green tea extract
Not question of safe: When on a diet rich in fats and you take pills to block fat absorption, you are likely to have problems controlling your bowel movements. You may find yourself in situations with the need for immediate access to a toilet and possibly even situations where you don't always make it in time. Limit fats and increase proteins and don't take such medications. Low glycemic index better than low carb. ...Read more

No interaction: Dont know which fat burner you are taking however there is usually no interaction between the two . You have to be careful with fat burners because although there is no caffeine usually they have stuff in it which will increase heart rate and may affect your sleep, cause anxiety, or even panic attacks in some. Safest way to lose weight is healthy diet and exercise. ...Read more
Fat burner: The best way to overcome fat is to make sure your food intake is OK and that you exercise regularly. On the web there are many articles related to food content. My favorite - because it is the most straightforward - is "NuVal". It provides 100 items with a range of a score of 4-100. The higher the score the better the food. Take a look at it. ...Read more
Probably not: Sertraline does not guarantee weight loss although some patients would spontaneously lose weight due to the side effects of the medication or the treatment of an atypical depression. It is not common to see massive weight changes on sertraline and some patients would even gain weight on sertraline. I would talk more with your physician about these considerations in your treatment. Stay safe! ...Read more
Don't fall for it: "Fat burners" and other supplements promoted for weight loss are bogus. They are either worthless, or they are stimulants that can cause bodily harm. There is no shortcut to weight loss or muscle building. Cutting calories and exercise are the only things that work. Anyone who tells you otherwise is interested in your money. ...Read more

I am using a fat burner to supplement my diet and exercise. Lipo6 black. Can i drink alcohol while using this fat burner?
Why?: Alcohol is a potent source of calories, with twice the number of calories per gram as sugar, and almost as many as fat. If losing weight is important to you, and it seems like it is, alcohol should not be part of the plan. A standard drink has about 120 calories in just from alcohol, plus whatever else is in it (esp with beer). In addition, there is little evidence that "fat burners" really work. ...Read more

I can't recommend it: Most fat-burner tablets are mixes of placeboes and medicines that work like caffeine. Tarceva (erlotinib) / Erlotinib is a hard-core chemotherapeutic agent for some of the most difficult common cancers. In your situation, if you're looking at actively trying to lose weight, you'll need also to make sure you support your skeletal muscle mass. You can do this only by hard aerobic exercise. ...Read more

Probably not: Adipex is an appetite suppressant. Helpful in right case but can have some potential side effects. All of us FLUFFY people actively seek the magic bullet to help lose weight. If fat burners really worked, we'd all be skinny - don't waste your money. Stick to balanced diet, lots of water, 8 hours sleep, and EXERCISE. Weight Watchers is an excellent resource. Which fat burner?: In general, I am not in favor of fat burners as i've not found them to be particularly helpful. However, if you want an opinion you will have to specify which fat burner it is that you're referring to so that we can look up the chemicals it contains and then see whether there is any information in the literature regarding this. Best wishes. ...Read more
Hello, I am inquiring about taking a weight loss supplement while on a SSRI. Would it be alright to take "Shredz Sexy & Lean" with Paxil (paroxetine)?
Yes: I know you've got some pretty severe drug restrictions with isotretinoin--but you should not have problems with an herbal "fat burner"--although frankly, they don't do much good. I recommend Metformin, to restore insulin receptor sensitivity, to help you lose weight. Also, white kidney bean extract taken with carbohydrates (when you "fall of the wagon") acts as a "starch blocker." ...Read more
