What happens when you take Victoza (liraglutide) 1.2 every other day and every other day you do 0. 6, does it lessen the side effects?
No: You are better off with the lower dose every day. Victoza (liraglutide) only lasts 24 hours and the higher dose every other day would cause more side effects. Most people get used to Victoza (liraglutide) and the side effects lessen with continued use. ...Read more

After your blood work is drawn, you should have a snack or normal meal to avoid LOW blood sugar. Dr. Anne ...Read more
Maybe. Why take it?: Green coffee bean extracts have caffeine, which is a stimulant. It should not affect one's blood sugar much, but nobody knows for sure. There are other plant chemicals in the extract as well. Most likely, green coffee is not well regulated nor well studied, so it may contain uncertain amounts of listed ingredients, plus various amounts of unlisted ingredients. One cannot be sure of its effects. ...Read more

Not studied: Hi. That hasn't been studied (or at least I haven't seen any data). So no one can say. Tolerability is an unfortunate issue with liraglutide, which is an outstanding drug. If you tolerate 0.6 mg twice daily better than 1.2 once daily, I'd say go for the 0.6 mg twice daily. Either that, or do 0.9 mg (5 clicks up from 0.6 mg) once daily, and do a SLOW upward titration. Good luck! ...Read more
