Uti: The sudden onset would make me worry less about ovarian cancer but rather a UTI which by virtue of the pain and nausea, would make me worry about pyelonephritis although you did not say anything about fever. Go get evaluated and that should be the best way and the best thing for you. ...Read more

No: This is very common in women and simply isn't a marker for ovarian cancer. Please accept my sympathy if you are having trouble dealing with an unfounded fear of ovarian cancer. No: A primary ovarian cancer is hard to dx because mostly asymptomatic. When it spreads, it induces ascites from omentum. Then spreads to bowel where GI symptoms arise. Aching in hips and pelvic especially on moving is sign of musculo skeletal problem. A pelvic CAT scan can resolve issue, if at all needed. ...Read more

OB/GYN consult: It sounds like you have some dysfunctional or abnormal uterine bleeding and dysmenorrhea. Talk with your specialist in OB/GYN. See the link for tests you may need. Do you have a family history of ovarian cancer? Weight loss? If not, probably not a reason to worry. MD time: Cramps in the abdomen and back can be due to a million and one different causes, benign or not. Do not get too anxious, just make sure your oncologist knows about it and follow his/her instructions. Hope it is nothing serious. Get better soon. ...Read more

?Bladder infection: Your symptoms are more like those from infection of the urinary bladder(Cystitis). You need to see a doctor to get your urine checked and take an antibiotic for bladder infection. Ovarian cancer is not likely cause of your present symptoms. You should not worry about Cancer at this young age...at least not until your get into your 50s! ...Read more
