It can cause increased heart rate and insomnia. u can use nasal sprays to decongest while avoiding the insomnia caused by oral decongestants. Probably not: If you have a diagnosis of pots, the treatment is directed towards symptoms. Pots by itself isn't life threatening, but can be annoying.
