Symptoms Of Patent Urachus
See details: During fetal life, there is a connection between the umbilical cord and the dome of the bladder. It usually obliterates before or soon after birth. If it remains patent, one can have leakage of urine from the umbilicus or infections of the lower midline abdominal wall. Then the patent urachus should be removed and the dome of the bladder repaired via an infraumbilical or lower midline incision.See 1 more doctor answer
1)can patent urachus suddenly occur out of the blue at age of 20 in men? 2)can poking ur belly button punture a hole that lets urine leak out?
1) Yes. 2) No.: A patent urachus is a still open congenital connection between the umbilicus (bellybutton) and the dome of the bladder. Poking your bellybutton will not cause it. A patent urachus is manifested by urine leaking out of the bellybutton or infection of the abdominal wall or bladder. Although we usually see it in younger children, it can become apparent in an older child or adult. Surgery is needed.See 1 more doctor answer
It could: It could. However most times hernias are painless. I would have it looked at.
I have constant bloody puss excretions from umbilicus. Surgeon diagnosed patch on vetillo intestine tract and urachus at exploration. Is it possible?
See MD ASAP: You really need to see your doctor immediately. You are describing signs of infection and you don't want that to get worse. You will likely need treatment hopefully just with antibiotics but things can get bad so would not waste time seeing your surgeon.
I had an anomaly of my urachus, I've been on cipro (ciprofloxacin) and anaprox for the last two days. My belly button doesn't hurt but I feel nautios. Is it the cipro (ciprofloxacin)?
Usually none: About 20% of all adults have pfo. Most people never have symptoms. Pagtent foramen ovale has been associated with cryptogenic stroke (a stroke thought to come from a small clot passing across the pfo from the right side of the heart to the left), migraine headaches, and decompression illness in scuba divers.See 2 more doctor answers
Redundant vaginal tissue? I noticed a small protrusion of tissue from my vaginal opening. No pain. No other symptoms.
Most likely normal: At age 23, it is unlikely that your description would correlate with a significant prolapse or defect in vaginal support. In the absence of any symptoms, it is unlikely a problem and is probably your normal anatomy-- bring it up at your next routine gyn exam to be sure; sooner if you are concerned.
I have been struggling for well over a yr since open shoulder repairs, with now chronic pain and fatique, odd m.S.-like symptoms. Can surg do this?
Not Likely: The symptoms sound serious enough that you should get a thorough evaluation. The symptoms don't sound like a post surgical syndrome, but possibly you contracted a chronic slow growing infection while in hospital. Mycoplasma is one candidate, and resistant strains have been found increasingly in hospitals. Get checked out.
I had De Quervain's surgery 6 years ago and have just recently seen recurring symptoms. The pain is almost unbareable. It keeps me up at night and I am unable to do routine daily activities like turn a doorknob. Opening s jar of peanut butter almost reduc
DeQuervian's Disease: 34 year old woman with DeQuervian's stenosing tenosynovitis s/p decompression 6 years ago now with recurring symptoms. Rest and splint your thumb if possible, ice, NSAIDs. Immediately call your hand surgeon. It may be that one tendon was decompressed, your Abductor Pollicis Longus, but you have since developed symptoms in the Extensor Pollicis Brevis tendon sheath and need injection/decompression.
No symptoms: One of the things about open angle glaucoma is that the peripheral vision loss "sneaks up" on folks. There are no symptoms, and the sign of peripheral vision loss is not noticeable until the vision loss is advanced. If there is a suspicion or family history, have a proper evaluation by an eye doctor.See 1 more doctor answer
I Believe I have a pilonidal cyst but the hole is open but I feel the same symptoms should I be worried?
Had mesh removal surg. 11days ago. Incision is partly open. Any correlation to the hives like symptoms I keep getting?
Unlikely: Medications, antibiotics, tape, other allergy more likely for hives. Surgeon may have left an opening to drain after mesh out. Ask him or her!
My cervix is sometimes really low, like 4ish CM from the opening the highest I've felt it is like 2/3inches is this normal? No other symptoms
Several symptoms.: A (p)persistent (d)ductus (a) allows blood to be shunted from the aorta to the pulmonary artery therefore causing more blood to go to the lungs. If the PDA is large, the increased blood flow to the lungs will determine a faster rate and work of breathing, the heart will enlarge and failure to thrive (grow appropriately). A PDA can and should be closed by a cardiologist or surgeon.
After 3/4 doses of misoprotol, my symptoms of mc haven't changed. What should I do if it doesn't work? Tissue is at my cervix, but it is barely open
A few ideas: I'm guessing that your doctor gave you instructions regarding how to take the Misoprostol and it wouldn't be my place to interfere with your doctor's instructions. If the Misoprostol doesn't cause complete evacuation of the uterus, then your doctor may recommend either additional doses of the medication or a dilation and curettage. I'm sorry you're going through this, I wish you the best.
I am a 26 year-old male, diagnosed with chronic prostatitis a week ago. Now, my urethral opening is slightly swollen, it is a symptom of prostatitis?
Symptoms when opening fast in ramdan of sickness and diarrohea instantly. Am I correct in thinking this is because of my diagnosis of hyperthyroidism?
Incomprehensible: I am sorry to report but your question is completely incomprehensible. What is "opening fast"? "Random of sickness"? These are not in any way clear or specific or medical terms.
