Symptoms Of Nose Itching
Allergies: I hate to say it, but itching/sneezing/runny nose, provided you're not sick at the time with a viral infection, is usually the result of environmental or seasonal allergies. Even if you've never had them before, you can actually develop allergies at any age, though don't give up hope as you can lose them too. It's worth checking your environment; any new exposures that could account for this? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Allergy symptoms: Allergies can cause a large variety of symptoms: most common is hay fever (molds, dust, pollen) with watery runny nose, watery eyes & itching, nasal itch, sneezing, and congestion. Plant/tree/grass allergies can cause eczema, a skin rash, as can food allergies. Aerosolized allergens (pet dander, pollen, etc.) can cause asthma with chest tightness and wheezing. ...Read more

Post nasal drip/facial swelling around the nose/mild cheek swelling. No other symptoms. Any clue?
Drainage and swellin: Your symptoms are most likely allergy related with 'allergic shiner' facies. However, facial swelling is unusual with allergies, unless severe (or angioedema). If the cheek swelling is on one side only then I'm even more concerned about sinusitis or something 'weird' in your nose or sinuses. I recommend an ENT exam (by ENT) just to be safe. ...Read more

Post nasal drip/mild swelling on the philtrum and cheek around the nose. No cold symptoms. Doc perscribed Nasal spray. No solution. Any ideas?
What is the difference between a cold and allergies. I'm having some symptoms of runny and stuffy nose, also itchiness and very little dry cough. ?
See Allergist: A cold is caused by a virus and is transient. Allergic rhinitis presents with a variety of symptoms including congestion, running, itching (eyes and nose), and post-nasal drip that can be seasonal or year round. Triggers can be allergic (animal dander, pollen, dust mites) or non-allergic (strong scents/odors, cleaning products, weather changes). See an allergist for further workup and skin testing ...Read more

Excessive saliva: Based on your medication history (with benadryl), it seems that you are having troubles with allergies for one thing. Drowsiness may be related to taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) possibly, but excessive salivation can indicate various systemic illnesses, which, if diagnosed early and correctly, can save you from extensive, complex treatment in the future. Please see an md doctor to see if you need a specialist. ...Read more

Nose itching with increased temperature in and out of house. I have been doing immunotherapy for 3 yrs but this continues. Is this normal?
No: Allergy shots shouldn't have taken more than a year to work and you should consider stopping it-assuming you have already done the environmental control measures (dust mites, pets, molds etc). May be allergies:

It doesn't even sound like sinusitis.
What it sounds like is allergies, likely to airborne pollens, molds and/or dust. But itchy throat/pallet also often caused by certain foods.

If I have a shower I have no problems. If I have a bath , after 10 min , my head itches very strong. Why? Is it a symptom of dermatitis seborroic?
?: I can't think of a mechanism for this since showering would involve your scalp but bathing likely not. There is a condition known as cholinergic urticaria in which intensely itchy red bumps would develop after a rise in core body temperature, but this does not fit your picture.
