Please get help...: Gi bleeding is never normal, but when prolonged for months associated with lower abdominal distress as you describe, then colitis (colon inflammation) must be ruled out. Possibilities at your age most likely include: 1) inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or crohn's); 2) infection, maybe chronic or recurrent.
