Lynch Syndrome: Although the genetics are somewhat more complex than this question implies, Lynch syndrome does not cause any functional changes in the digestive tract. Those with Lynch syndrome do not tend to have IBS symptoms anymore than the general population. They certainly have an increased risk of cancer though.
