Symptoms Of Cyst In Uterus
35ttc, 2 days late, 2 neg OTC tests, burning ovary, regular cycles, period symptoms, fatigue (8 mm cyst in uterus) advise?
Late: 2 days late not so much of a worry but others symptoms are. See your gyn.
A cyst is a structure or mass that consists of a cellular lined sac. It is typically filled with fluid but may be filled with solid material. It can be congenital, traumatic, or acquired. They may develop nearly anywhere in the body and usually require complete excision for eradication or they are likely to recur. Fluid filled sacs that are not cellular lined ...Read more
Uterine fluid.: There shouldn't be much fluid within the uterus. If both the tubes and the cervix are open, there shouldn't be any place for fluid to build up and remain. It can happen if the tubes are blocked, if you had surgery and the cervix is obstructed, if you have fibroids that block the cervix, or if you had surgery to remove the lining. You should be evaluated by your doctor.
Hi. I had a misscarrige and I found out that I have funcional cyst in my uterus. Is that dangerous and should it be surgically removed.
You sure about it?: Typically a functional cyst describes your ovary, not your uterus. But the term functional means that it isn't bad or dangerous and likely will go away by itself. Check with your obgyn for follow up. So sorry about your miscarriage. Good luck.
Is a uterus size 9x4x5cm witj a hemging cyst size18x9x13 normal with endomertiom of 6mm thicnkness in a 32 year old woman. That has endometriosis?
Depends: If you mean 18mmX9mmX13mm then yes, but if the measurement was cm (centimeters) then that's very large and needs to be addressed. A hemorrhagic corpus luteum (cyst that forms after ovulation) is normal and 18 mm (millimeters) in size is quite normal. Your endometrial thickness is fine as is your uterine size.
? fibroid: I presume you have a uterine fibroid, a common benign muscle tumor. Sometimes people call them fibroid cysts (fluid filled), though they are usually solid muscle. If I am right-nothing needs to be done. Fetal growth needs to be monitored with ultrasound and vaginal delivery is usually acceptable.
These are in ovary: Dermoid cysts are benign (non-malignant) cysts that are in the ovary, not the uterus although large cysts can push into the uterus. They develop from eggs that begin growing without being fertilized and develops hair, teeth and other structures. They can twist, causing severe pain and often need to be removed to relieve the pain. They are sort of a "freak" of nature but totally benign.
What if you have removed ovaries and uterus and now have a cyst inadnexa does it need to be removed?
I only have one ovary due to dermoid. New dermoid and cyst on remaining. If they remove this ovary will they take my uterus too? Should I ask them to?
Consider.: Discuss this with your doctor. If you have no wish for any further children, and you lose both ovaries, why keep the uterus (of no use and potential source of cancer? But to preserve normal hormonal and reproductive function, it would be fantastic if you could keep both. Surgery always has risks as well. Think carefully and get a second opinion, before considering such surgery.
I have a 7cm cyst on my ovary and a fiborid tumor on my uterus, should I get them both removed as soon as possible?
I have a cyst in my uterus and I'm 9 weeks pg. My doc said the cyst will shrink but what if it doesn't. Is this cyst going to harm pg?
Trust your OBG/Doc: The cyst you mentioned is very unlikely to harm or enlarge and your doc will be monitoring it with us to assure it is not. Sometimes this will occur due to the surgery on the uterus, so you might ask if it is located in the previous incision area on the lower anterior wall of the uterus at your next prenatal visit. Don't obsess over this, but do keep your appointments and be observant.
Adenomyosis-large cysts and uterus is boggy and very large is there anything that makes an impact besides menopause and hysterectomy?
Possibly: Perhaps you can get relief of symptoms by using birthcontrol pills or from lupron (leuprolide). You need to speak with a doctor, probably have an ultrasound to assess. I'd be happy to see you if you are interested. If you are premenopausal. We are in tarzana (san fernando valley). 818 344-8522.
I had an operation in 2006 to remove a large cyst on my ovaries. Now I have a new small one behind my uterus and not same place. Can I remove it?
It depends...: What was the size and the nature of the first cyst? Benign or not? Uterus usually can not have cysts, so please tell me more. Is this a new cyst in your ovary and behind the uterus or it's in the uterus? What is exactly the size of it and if you have any symptom because of that?
Ovarian cyst: Location of the cyst its not that important while treating a cyst (not thinking from a surgical standpoint, where it can actually have some effect but for the surgeon). A cyst can be treated medically, expectant management or surgically.
