32 yo fmale, since removal of a lipoma in march I have had a discharge clear to milky from both breast, cure or explanations?

Coincidence: Removal of a lipoma would have no effect on your breasts. Differentiating nipple discharge (pathologic) from secretion (physiologic) can be tricky. Favoring the latter includes fluid from both breasts especially if its not spontaneous and emanating from multiple duct orifices. If it is truly milk this may indicate elevated prolactin levels. Bottom line: go see your gyne for a formal evaluation. ...Read more

I have a lipoma (thinks dr)in rib cage area (about an inch over from breast). Could it have come from exercise? First noticed a week after playing tennis

No probably not: As far as I know, lipomas do not come from exercise. They are benign fatty tumors. You probably just noticed it because you were playing tennis and it started irritating you. If your doctor thinks its a lipoma you should consider having it removed so it doesn't continue to grow and cause discomfort. ...Read more

I had an excisional breast biopsy the dr had to go a lot deeper, poss. Lipoma, will wait for biospy to come back- can this be cancer in any way?

Hard to say: The important thing is that the surgery is behind you. Without seeing the mammogram and/or ultrasound its hard to predict the chances that this can be cancer. If its a lipoma then its definitely benign! Why it was decided to resect it? Was it symptomatic? Was there something on imaging that was thought to be suspicious? I recommend to wait till biopsy results are back to discuss with ur surgeon. ...Read more

Well: Sleeping well? Previous hx of pain with stress? Ever been treated for anxiety/ depression? It could be the skin but ur gp would have gotten that. Breast exam by dr- "mass" found- painful did an excisional biopsy, not seen on mammo, ultrasound, had to go deeper possible lipoma-in anyway cancer?

Possibly: Sounds like you had a palpable breast mass that wasn't identified by either mammogram or ultrasound. You have had biopsy, which will provide a definitive answer to the question of "what is it? " mammogram and ultrasound are good, but not perfect, at identifying areas of concern. Having a biopsy, as you did, is the only way to know for sure what this area is/was. ...Read more
