Sounds neurological: The constellation of your symptoms may or may not all go together, but they definitely warrant an evaluation. Typhoid: Where are you? This disease is uncommon in the usa and these symptoms are not generally part of the 4 phase illness created by salmonella typhi. It sounds, if you are in a tropical area, as if you might also have dengue or chikungunya. If possible, see an infectious diseases expert. Depending on the area of the brain that is effected, you can have different visual loss symptoms, including blurry vision, double vision, loss of vision, partial loss of vision, in one or both eyes. Likely DM: If you have a high fasting blood glucose then you meet criteria for prediabetes. You may not meet criteria for diabetes by a large portion of physicians don't believe that an A1C of 6.5 is what is required for a diagnosis of diabetes. Much lower values can indicate diabetes. Neuroophthalmologist: Consult if the symptoms don't resolve. There are several possibilities related to viral illness. Thyroid. Migraine, cranial nerves. Myasthenia. I doubt it is related to provigil. You would need to get checked in person if concerned. ...Read more

However, i would start with a general medical workup looking at thyroid levels, vitamin levels, electrolytes, perhaps even heavy metals. Not : Not clear if this is related to dietary change. Probably not. I bet you feel better now. But I do suggest that you easy on the carbs and calories.
