Be checked: Some women do get Bartholin's cysts on both sides. Best thing is to be seen. It is usually simple to drain. If the cysts keep recurring or develop abscesses, sometimes an operation is needed to sew them open. It's outpatient and is called marsupilization. Just follow up with your GYN. 2 different issues: A Bartholin’s cyst does not require any treatment until it becomes infected. People can live with them for years and years. The mons cyst needs a diagnosis. An Obgyn needs to see it to determine what it is and what might be causing it before we can offer any suggestions.
