The last few days my right hand on the left side on my wrist has been sore. Could it be carpal tunnel or more a strain. Fingers are fine ?

Are thin wrists, and long thin hands on a male a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome or something else?

Not carpal tunnel: First off the description is of physical characteristics which is something distinct from symptoms. Symptoms of carpal tunnel would typically be related to entrapment of the median nerve i.E numbness, tingling and weakness of the hand. Carpal tunnel over the years I have slowly built wrist pain that i'm assuming is carpal tunnel. I have heard from some friends about endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery as a great way to help alleviate the symptoms. Can someone help explain what this

Minimally invasive.: Endoscopic carpal tunnel release (ectr) is a minimally inasive technique for releasing the carpal ligament. I use the microaire system in my practice which allows for a much smaller scar that is well hidden in the transverse wrist crease. I have patients who have had an open procedure on one side with an endoscopic release on the other hand who report kess pain and faster recovery as well. ...Read more
