Why I am shaking cold even though very warm in the house and bundled up? I keep getting these severe chills, hands are freezing. Legs keep shaking and clenching. Chills and shaking so bad I feel like I may fall down or faint.

Thyroid: Perhaps the thyroid gland is not working. It regulates your metabolism as far as keeping you at a normal temperature. Your thyroid gland is located in your neck. Blood tests show how well it is working.
